Caroline Jones was born in England and has lived most of her life in Asia and Europe. She now lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
Her artistic concerns have been to record the lives of people in distant and remote lands, through sketching and painting. She begins each series with research, extensive travel in the region and hundreds of drawings.
She is a plein air painter whose work has covered everything from Chinese opera and Tibetan monks to London’s bridges and the architecture of Los Angeles’ movie lots.
More recently she began a new journey into three-dimensional work exploring figurative and abstract sculptures in bronze and stone.
Her work has been exhibited, published and sold in Asia, Europe and America.
